Preparation should match the activity
Inner Forest Lodge brings together nature, rest, learning, Amazonian activities, and, when applicable, ceremonial experiences. Some guidance applies to the entire stay; other instructions are provided only when a specific activity requires them.
Before you travel
- Review your program, schedules, participation conditions, and any activity-specific recommendations.
- Complete private information requested through My booking in advance when it applies to your retreat or activity.
- Share allergies, dietary restrictions, mobility needs, or other information relevant to preparing your stay.
- Try to arrive rested and with enough time to adapt to the environment and planned schedule.
Health and professional advice when appropriate
If you have a health condition, regularly use medication, have a relevant medical or mental-health history, or simply have doubts about whether an activity is appropriate for you, we recommend speaking beforehand with a qualified health professional who knows your situation.
A medical assessment provided by Inner Forest Lodge is not a general requirement before the stay. Professional advice is recommended when your personal circumstances or the nature of a particular activity make it prudent.
During your stay
- Follow the operational and safety instructions communicated for each activity.
- Tell the team promptly if you experience illness, injury, an unexpected reaction, or any situation that may require attention.
- Do not participate while under the influence of alcohol or other substances that could compromise your safety or that of others.
- Respect your personal limits and speak up when you need to stop, rest, or request support.
Access to medical care if an incident occurs
If something happens during the experience that requires medical attention, the priority will be to facilitate timely access to appropriate care. The location allows access to nearby health services when necessary.
This should not be interpreted as a promise of permanent on-site medical staffing or a mandatory medical assessment before every activity.
Activity-specific instructions
Specific guidance about food, schedules, equipment, physical effort, or ceremonial preparation is provided when it genuinely applies to the activity selected. We avoid presenting universal rules when they do not apply to every experience.
