Amazon
Forest and river are active parts of the experience, inviting observation, a slower pace, and a different relationship with the territory.

An Amazonian proposal bringing together territory, experience, and responsible accompaniment.
ABOUT US · TAMSHIYACU, PERUVIAN AMAZON
Inner Forest Lodge Lodge begins in Tamshiyacu as an Amazonian immersion proposal bringing together nature, rest, learning, responsible preparation, and a respectful approach to rainforest traditions.

Tamshiyacu · Loreto
River, forest, and time to pay attention again.
WHY INNER FOREST LODGE
Our proposal begins with a conviction: being in the Amazon can mean much more than staying there. Forest, river, silence, activities, shared knowledge, and moments of introspection can become one coherent journey when they are approached with time, context, and respect.

TAMSHIYACU · LORETO
Tamshiyacu brings us closer to river and forest life. Walks, birdwatching, fishing, night outings, time by the water, and rest create ways to relate to the environment without reducing it to scenery. The Amazon sets the pace of the experience.
OUR PROPOSAL
Inner Forest Lodge does not present isolated experiences. Its value lies in how territory, preparation, tradition, and integration relate within the same stay.
Forest and river are active parts of the experience, inviting observation, a slower pace, and a different relationship with the territory.
Responsible participation requires information, personal readiness, and clear guidance before any ceremonial experience.
Ayahuasca is approached within an Amazonian and ceremonial context, not as entertainment or as a promise of outcomes.
EXPERIENCE AND LEARNING
We want the stay to help guests understand the Amazonian environment more deeply, approach practices and knowledge respectfully, and pay closer attention to their own experience. That learning dimension must be built without claiming ownership of knowledge that belongs to communities and tradition holders.
AMAZONIAN TRADITION AND AYAHUASCA
In Peru, traditional knowledge and uses of ayahuasca practiced by Amazonian native communities have been recognized as Cultural Heritage of the Nation. For Inner Forest Lodge, that reference calls for a sober approach: recognize its cultural dimension, avoid trivialization, and clearly distinguish tradition, personal experience, and medical claims.
View the official Ministry of Culture referenceWithin the Inner Forest Lodge proposal, the ceremonial experience is approached as a space for introspection and personal search for people who choose to participate and meet the criteria applicable to that activity. We do not present it as a cure, treatment, or guaranteed outcome.

Preparation, safety, consent, and health considerations do not apply in the same way to every activity. These pages explain what is general to the stay and what deserves additional attention depending on the experience selected.
WHO ACCOMPANIES YOU
We want every visible responsibility to be connected to an identifiable person and a clear role. Coordination, ceremonial support, guides, and other roles will be presented with confirmed names, responsibilities, and biographies.
HEALTH CARE
Inner Forest Lodge does not require its own medical assessment as a general condition before the stay. When a health condition, medication, relevant history, or personal concern makes it prudent, we recommend consulting beforehand with a qualified health professional who knows your situation.
OUR COMMITMENTS
